We are a landscape design and build company based in Vancouver, Canada, with a reputation for making gardens that combine naturalism and modernity.
We work in close collaboration with clients, designers and architects on a wide range of projects covering all aspects of plant and landscape design, from conceptual stages through to detailed design and implementation.
Established in 2001, our work ranges from large private gardens through to urban roof decks and container installations. Most projects are located in the Lower Mainland, with a few undertaken further afield.
Anna Graf
Inspired by the long heritage of English garden culture, as well as new plant introductions and design styles coming out of Europe, Anna worked with several dynamic garden design and landscape companies in London, England.
Her modern designs are a mixture of traditional and contemporary styles, defined by their innovative planting and sculptural characteristics.
Anna has travelled extensively in order to study gardens and plants in their natural habitats. Highlights include many of the great gardens and landscapes of England as well as visits to inspiring gardens in Italy, France and the Pacific Northwest. She passionately continues her education, with attention to worldwide design trends, garden and architectural styles, plant introductions and horticultural practices.
Anna is a photographer, defender of bees, and clandestine grower of kale.
Elisabeth Graf
Elisabeth is a passionate and highly gifted horticulturalist and self-described plantaholic, in professional practice since 1998.
A keen plant collector and designer for several decades, her eye for new plant introductions and exciting plant combinations are only surpassed by her inability to throw out a plant without first trying to save it in her 'plant hospital'.
Her exceptional eye for colour and form, brings her unique style to a range of highly personal gardens - from stunning beach properties to stately homes in Point Grey and Shaughnessy, and serene public roof gardens in urban environments.
She has lived and gardened in multiple countries and this international experience provides fresh insights to her work, where her skills centre on plant quality and design aesthetic. She continues to create, maintain, and shape gardens into living works of art, delighting in working outside, in the garden, even in the rain.
Elisabeth is a keen photographer, a confidant of hummingbirds and a dahlia devotee.
